Health function leads to health development-and we’re here to help.

At our office, we look beyond just teeth-we focus on the way the mouth, tongue, and airway all work together to support overall health. One key service we provide is myofunctional therapy, a series of gentle exercises that help train the muscles of the tongue, lips, and face to function properly. This therapy can improve breathing, swallowing, speech, and even sleep quality.

A vital part of this care is screening for tongue ties. A tongue tie (or restricted lingual frenum) can limit the tongue movement, which may impact a child’s ability to breastfeed, chew, swallow, or speak clearly. Over time, untreated tongue ties may also contribute to improper jaw development and airway concerns, affecting how a child breathes-especially at night.

By identifying and addressing tongue ties early, we can support proper growth, healthier breathing patterns, and long-term wellness for children. Our team is here to guide families through evaluation, treatment options ,and supportive therapies like myofunctional training to ensure every child has the best foundation for a health smile and airway.
